I reuse vegetable & fruit shopping bags for poop scooping disposal when the local doggy waste disposal bins have no supply.

The city of Cannes (and others in Europe) in many neighbourhoods provide blue doggy poop bins with black plastic bags free to the locals. They often run out, so I keep a supply of shopping bags for those times.

Also used "kleenex boxes" make great plastic bag storage containers. They stack really well and if you find you have an excess, you can simply put them in the recycle bin.
