What an amzing story! What would happen if some of the grassy park areas (which now are probably poisoned with fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides) were repurposed into community gardens which includes poor families and the homeless? This might de-poison our earth and water, support and stimulate wildlife, provide food for those who really need it, and it would also encourage bonds among humans which often are separated by a rigid economic barrier. Wait I have to write to our city council...
