Hi Emily!

I certainly understand your concern. Although, if you'll note, I have described in this post that the Aral photos are related to the Soviet Union diverting waters.

My point is that whether nature is damaged due to global warming, climate change, or human intervention - arguing the fact constantly is not helping the earth.

What will help the earth is to stop arguing about the general cause and start looking at specifics so you are better able to actually apply real ACTION and solve problems. Whining really helps no one, right?

My hope is that people will understand saying "global warming" does not exist is not a defense for continuing to do things the way we have been - which has not been adequately preventing the earth from being damaged.

Thanks for your comment Emily!

Best,

Shawna

Those were some of the most prominate scientists in their field caught talking about padding their data. It brings up huge questions about the integrity of the rest of their work - that can't be denied. Also, climate scientists are incentivized to bring a wow factor to their work - it in return gives them more press, grant money to continue their "groundbreaking" work, and stature among peers. I think it's very telling they don't open source their research data to scrutiny.

And putting Lake Aral pictures on here makes it look like you are trying to make people think global warming caused it to dry up - which definitly is not the case.

That said, I do believe CO2 affects global warming, and lead a low carbon life.
